National Small Business Week

National Small Business Week

Business managers and entrepreneurs:

National Small Business Week is April 29 -May 5.  The annual event is hosted by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) to recognize the nation’s top small businesses, entrepreneurs, small business advocates.

The (SBA) defines a “small business” as one that employs 500 or fewer people. There are 30 million small businesses in the United States, employing 48 percent of all U. S.  workers.  The impact that these small businesses have on the United States economy motivates the government to focus significant resources and to support many programs that can help these businesses to do more business.

Small Business Week presents an opportunity to participate in online seminars, secure information, and to participate in educational activities. Click here for more info on Small Business Week.

More than one of every two United States citizens either works for or owns a small business. Small businesses generate two of every three new jobs created each year.

Entrepreneurs and business managers should celebrate their success and contribution to the growth of the U. S. economy. The Green Business Report congratulates the small business community for its contributions and is pleased to share resources that enhance their opportunities for success.

Sincerely,

Eugene Green, Jr.
